Shipping policy

Your Order, Handled with Care

At MaiaMilk, we understand that your baby's nutrition is time-sensitive. That's why we've partnered with FedEx to ensure your freeze-dried donor breast milk arrives quickly and safely. Every order is carefully packaged in our temperature-controlled facility and shipped directly to your door.

Shipping Options and Rates

All delivery times are counted in business days, Monday through Friday, and begin from the ship date. We do not deliver on weekends. No Saturday delivery option is available on any shipping method.

All orders ship within the United States only, including all 50 states and Washington D.C. We do not currently offer international shipping, shipping to P.O. Boxes, or delivery to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses due to carrier restrictions on temperature-sensitive products.

Order Processing Times

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday only. We do not process, ship, or deliver on Saturdays, Sundays, or federal holidays.

Orders placed before 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on a business day are processed and shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST, or on weekends and federal holidays, are processed and shipped the following business day.

Overnight Delivery and the Weekend

Overnight delivery arrives one business day after your order ships. To receive next-business-day delivery, place your order before 12:00 PM PST on a business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST ship the following business day and arrive one business day after that.

Because weekends are not delivery days, overnight does not mean Saturday delivery. An overnight order placed before the cutoff on Friday arrives the following Monday. An overnight order placed after the Friday cutoff, or any time over the weekend, ships Monday and arrives Tuesday.

Overnight Delivery Schedule

The table below shows when an overnight order ships and arrives based on when it is placed (all times Pacific Standard Time).

FedEx Standard orders arrive 3 to 4 business days after the ship date, following the same processing schedule above and excluding weekends and holidays.

Holiday Schedule

We observe the following holidays and do not process or ship orders on these days: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Orders placed on or near a holiday are processed on the next business day, and orders placed on or near holidays may experience processing delays.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your FedEx tracking number. You can track your package's journey at FedEx.com or through the FedEx mobile app. We recommend enabling delivery notifications to ensure you're home when your order arrives.

Delivery Expectations

Delivery times shown are estimates based on FedEx-published transit times and begin from the ship date, not the order date. While we partner with FedEx to provide reliable delivery, actual delivery may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions and natural disasters
  • Carrier volume during peak seasons
  • Local delivery conditions
  • Address accessibility issues

We are not responsible for carrier delays once your package has left our facility. For time-sensitive orders, we recommend selecting Overnight shipping before the 12:00 PM PST cutoff.

Address Accuracy

Please verify your shipping address is complete and accurate before submitting your order, including apartment or suite numbers and ZIP codes. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered during checkout is correct.

Address changes may be requested within one hour of order placement by contacting us at info@getmaiamilk.com. Once an order enters processing or has shipped, we cannot guarantee address modifications. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your tracking shows no movement for more than 48 hours, or if your package appears lost, please contact us immediately at info@getmaiamilk.com. We will work with FedEx to locate your package. If the package cannot be located within seven business days of the expected delivery date, we will work with you to resolve the situation.

For packages that show as delivered but were not received, please first check with neighbors, building management, or common delivery locations around your property. If you still cannot locate your package, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery notification.

Temperature-Sensitive Product Notice

MaiaMilk products are freeze-dried for shelf stability and do not require refrigeration during transit. However, we recommend storing your product according to the instructions on the packaging immediately upon receipt to maintain optimal quality.

Limitations of Liability

MaiaMilk shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, carrier delays or equipment failures, strikes, government actions, civil unrest, customs holds, supply chain disruptions, or other circumstances that make delivery impractical or impossible.

While we use reliable carriers and packaging methods, we cannot control conditions during transit by third-party carriers. Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery of your order to the carrier.
